Residential Lifetime Warranty
Raphael Stone will warranty from the original date the installation of any material that fails due to a manufacturing defect only when fabricated and installed by a Raphael Stone Certified Fabricator.
This warranty applies to the repair or replacement of failed material that has been permanently installed in your residence. The option to repair or replace the material is at the sole discretion of Raphael Stone.
This Residential Lifetime Warranty is available only to the original owner of a single-family residence in which Raphael Stone has been originally installed. In the case of a newly constructed single-family residence, this warranty is available to the “first” owner purchasing the residence when Raphael Stone was permanently installed and is transferable according to the terms and conditions stated below.
Terms and Conditions
This warranty applies to the product that was installed after February 15, 2008.
- This warranty applies only to Raphael Stone’s quartz surfacing materials and does not apply to any other products, including other quartz surfacing products manufactured or supplied by any other party, except Raphael Stone Collection®.
- This warranty applies only to Raphael Stone’s quartz surfacing materials that have been permanently installed in the interior of single-family residences and have not been moved from their original installation. If after or during installation you decide that you do not like the color or finish you selected, that decision is not covered under this warranty.
- This warranty does not cover any residence where the owner is not the occupant.
- This warranty does not cover materials and/or services that have not been paid in full.
- This warranty applies only to materials that have been maintained according to the Raphael Stone’s Care & Maintenance guidelines. Care & Maintenance guidelines are available at www.raphaelstoneusa.com.
- To request service under this warranty you must contact the company who sold you Raphael Stone or contact Raphael Stone directly at 855-308-4537 within thirty (30) days of the failure of Raphael Stone quartz surfacing materials.
- Following installation, you must register your product within thirty (30) days in order to activate your warranty. Simply complete the online form made available at the Warranty Registration page. In the event that no record of your warranty is on file, you must provide proof of purchase in the form of a copy of your original receipt or invoice showing the name of the Owner, Authorized Dealer, and Raphael Stones Certified Fabricator. Upon receipt of your original receipt or invoice showing the name of the Owner, Authorized Dealer, and Raphael Stones Certified Fabricator, Raphael Stone Collection®. willfully honor this warranty even though no warranty is on file. You must agree to cooperate with Raphael Stone Collection®. or its authorized agents in the inspection of the product and assist us in efforts to perform our obligations under this warranty.
- This warranty is transferable under the following conditions: The original or first owner must have initially registered the warranty with Raphael Stone®. as specified in item F. The original or first owner must submit to Raphael Stone®. in writing the name, address and phone number of the new owner. The new owner will receive a prorated 10-year limited warranty, which is prorated from the original date of installation. In no event will the transferred warranty exceed ten (10) years from the date of the original installation.
- In the event that Raphael Stone quartz surfacing materials fail due to a manufacturing defect, Raphael Stone®. will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace such materials. Raphael Stone®. will seek to obtain the best possible result, whether we decide to repair or replace your installation. However, the exact color match is never guaranteed. All decisions regarding this warranty are at the sole discretion of Raphael Stone®., no representative, dealer, salesperson, distributor, fabricator or any other person is authorized to make any warranty or promises on behalf of Raphael Stone®. with respect to Raphael Stonequartz surfacing products.
Exclusions:
- This warranty does not cover use for any commercial purposes. Commercial use includes but is not limited to, use in a store, rental properties, office or any other place of business.
- This warranty does not cover products installed in any outdoor application.
- This warranty does not cover products used as flooring material.
- This warranty does not cover improper use or abuse. Improper use or abuse includes, but is not limited to, damage from mishandling of the product, damage from excessive heat or uneven exposure to weather conditions, physical or chemical abuse and damage from improper care and maintenance.
- This warranty does not cover chips or other excessive impact damage to the product.
- This warranty does not cover scratches. Raphael Stone is a very hard material and highly scratch resistance but not scratch proof. Proper care must be exercised including the use of a cutting board as part of your care and maintenance.
- This warranty does not cover routine maintenance. Routine maintenance includes but is not limited to, minor conditions such as removing stains and water spots by following the techniques specified in the Raphael Stone’s online Care & Maintenance Guidelines at www.raphaelstoneusa.com
- This warranty does not cover failures due to fabricators/installers not following the prescribed fabrication and installation procedures as outlined by Raphael Stone®. Improper fabrication and/or installation is the sole responsibility of the fabricator and/or installer.
- This warranty does not cover any defects that were visible at the time of fabrication and were not avoided during fabrication. Fabricators are required to perform a visual inspection of all materials prior to fabrication and again prior to installation.
- This warranty does not cover seam appearance or seam performance, adhesives, caulk or other accessory items. Once the product is installed, the two main reasons for seam separation or cracking are the shifting or movement of the substrate, cabinets or foundation, and thermal shock. Thermal shock can occur when a hot pan, dish or other receptacle or object is left on the countertop for more than a brief period. Trivets or hot pads should always be used. These issues are not considered material defects and are subject to proper care and maintenance by the owner.
- This warranty does not cover any chemical damage.
- This warranty does not cover any creative use of the material including bending or curving.
- This warranty does not cover material that has been milled or reduced in thickness.
- This warranty does not cover the installation of sinks.
- This warranty does not cover securing mechanical fasteners directly into the material.
- This warranty does not cover any failures due to inadequate support for the installation. This includes overhangs in excess of the recommendations provided by Raphael Stone which are inadequately supported.
- This warranty does not cover any chips or cracks that are a result of “dry” cutting or polishing.
- This warranty does not cover chips or cracks that are a result of not following the minimum requirements for edge details.
- This warranty does not cover mitered edges where the joint is not cut correctly.
- This warranty does not cover the altering of any factory-applied finish. Only colors listed as available in our brochure, sample book or on our website as “honed” are eligible under this warranty. Any issues arising from the practice of “in-shop” honing are the sole responsibility of the fabricator.
- This warranty does not cover temporary marks that are common to honed finishes such as metal marks, fingerprints or other signs of daily living. A signed “Special Care Considerations for Raphael Stone Honed Finishes” form is required to be submitted to Raphael Stone or its assigns to receive coverage under this warranty. This form must be signed by the end-user/owner of the finished installation.
- This warranty does not cover additional modifications such as plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinets, flooring, etc that may be necessary to repair or replace the Raphael Stone product covered under this warranty.
- This warranty does not cover natural variations in the color, size, shape, and distribution of the pattern of the natural quartz or the natural variations in background tone. These characteristics are inherent and unique characteristics of the product. Color samples provided to consumers, dealers and fabricators are only representatives and not an exact replication of what will be installed in your home.
- This warranty does not cover what is referred to as spots or blemishes smaller than a U.S. ten (10) cent piece. A certain level of spots or blemishes are inherent in the manufacturing process and do not affect the structural integrity of the material.
- Raphael Stone materials contain important product information on the back of each slab. Removing this product information will void the warranty.
Raphael Stone®. is not responsible for damage or injury caused in whole or in part by job site conditions, and architectural/engineering design and structural movement, acts of vandalism or accidents will void the warranty.
Raphael Stone®. shall not be responsible in either contract or tort for any loss of direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of the use or the inability to use the products covered by this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
The foregoing is the complete warranty for Raphael Stone and supersedes all other warranties and representations, whether oral or written. except as expressly set forth above, no other warranties are made with respect to Raphael Stone and u.s. quartz products, Inc. expressly disclaims all warranties not stated herein, including, to the extent permitted by applicable law, any warranty that may exist under national, state, provincial or local law including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. some states or other jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Commercial Lifetime Warranty
Raphael Stone warrants to the owner of the original installation that Raphael Stone quartz surfaces, when installed in accordance with current published procedures by a Raphael Stone Certified Fabricator/Installer, shall be free from material defects in manufacturing. Raphael Stone Products are thoroughly inspected prior to delivery or prior to shipment. The recipient is solely responsible for inspecting the product upon its receipt. Damages on the product thereafter are at the responsibility of the owner; as is the finalized inspection and approval for installation of the product.
Raphael Stone makes no express or implied warranty including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or from any other course of dealing or trade usage regarding the product. No warranty whatsoever is made in regards to materials produced or provided by other manufacturers.
Raphael Stone’s sole responsibility and liability under this warranty shall be to repair or replace, at the Raphael Stone option, the products shown to be defective, during the warranty period. Raphael Stone shall have no liability for any other loss, expense or damage, as a result of the installation of Raphael Stone. Under no circumstances shall Raphael Stone be liable for indirect, punitive, consequential, special or any other similar damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, business interruption or any other loss.
The original owner must provide Raphael Stone with prompt notice of any alleged defects that appear. Raphael Stone. or its authorized agents must be permitted to inspect the product and to follow the warranty procedures. The owner’s only options to rectify the issue (depending on installation) are at the sole responsibility of Raphael Stone: to repair or replace a defective product (slab or tile), or refund at the purchase price. All decisions regarding the existence of manufacturing defects or affecting this warranty shall be made by Raphael Stone and shall be final and binding on all parties.
Terms and Conditions
- This warranty applies only to Raphael Stone surfacing materials.
- This warranty applies only to installations that are permanently installed in commercial structures and that have not been moved from the original installation.
- This Warranty shall be null and void if the product has not been paid in full.
- This warranty only applies to materials that have been maintained according to the Raphael Stone Warranty & Care Guide.
- This warranty does not apply to products with “honed” finishes. Honed finishes require more daily maintenance and may not be appropriate for high traffic areas.
- This warranty does not cover materials used in flooring applications.
- This warranty is not transferable. This warranty is issued to the original owner of the structure in which the Raphael Stone was installed and expires upon transfer of the ownership of the structure to a third party.
- You must register your installation either by registering the warranty online at www.raphaelstoneusa.com or by contacting Raphael Stone Customer Service at 855-308-4537.
- To request service under this warranty you must contact the entity from which you purchased the Raphael Stone or contact Raphael Stone directly at 855-308-4537
- All decisions regarding this warranty are at the sole discretion of Raphael Stone LLC and will be communicated to the end-user promptly.
- Laws and building safety codes governing the design, engineering, and construction of installations vary widely. Raphael Stone assumes no responsibility or obligations with respect to the selection of products for the installation or the design, engineering, and construction of the installation.
- The commercial property shall consist of any location open to the general public for business use, private properties subject to residential or commercial rental or lease, or properties designated as hotels, motels or other temporary residence applications.
EXCLUSIONS:
- Routine maintenance and minor conditions such as surface stains and water spots that may be corrected by following the techniques specified in the Use & Care Guide are not covered.
- This warranty does not cover products installed in outdoor applications.
- This warranty does not cover flooring applications.
- This warranty does not cover improper use or abuse.
- This Warranty does not cover damages or effects caused by poor installation and fabrication due to the fabricators or installers’ failure to follow the prescribed fabrication and installation procedures as outlined by Raphael Stone. Improper fabrication and installation is the sole responsibility of the fabricator/installer.
- This warranty does not cover labor to remove, fabricate and/or reinstall Raphael Stone, or other similar activities necessary to complete the replacement or removal of the defective material.
- This warranty does not cover seam appearance or seam performance.
- This warranty does not cover “honed” finishes or finishes that have been altered.
- This warranty does not cover additional modifications such as plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinets, etc that may be necessary to repair or replace the Raphael Stone product covered under this warranty.
- This warranty does not cover products installed with a known or visible manufacturing defect at the time of installation, including but not limited to color variance.
- This Warranty only fulfills manufacturing defects and not on products that have been damaged from mishandling, abnormal use, misuse or physical/chemical abuse, exposure to direct or sustained heat or cold temperatures, exposure to weather conditions or climate conditions, exposure to chemicals, force or pressure, or loading applied by a person, from a utensil or object, including but not limited to cracks and/or chips as a result.
Raphael Stone shall not be responsible in either contract or tort for any loss of direct, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or the inability to use the products covered in this warranty.
This is the only product warranty made by Raphael Stone. Raphael Stone’s authorized agents must be given sufficient time and opportunity to fully inspect the product, evaluate the situation and respond accordingly. No dealer, fabricator, distributor or any other person is authorized to make any warranty, promise or representation on behalf of Raphael Stone.
Mineral Collection Warranty
THE MINERAL COLLECTION WARRANTY & SPECIFICATIONS
Raphael Stone U.S.A. Inc. warrants from the original date of installation material from The Mineral Collection Line that fails due to any manufacturing defect when fabricated and installed by The Mineral Collection fabricator.
This warranty applies to the repair or replacement of failed material that has been permanently installed in a single‐family residence. The option to repair or replace the material is at the sole discretion of Raphael Stone U.S.A. Inc.
This Residential-Limited Ten (10) Year Warranty is available only to the homeowner who installs The Mineral Collection surfacing product in his/her single-family residence or, in the case of a newly constructed single‐family residence, to the first owner to acquire the residence from the builder thereof with the surfacing product already permanently installed. The Residential Limited Ten (10) Year Warranty is not transferable.
EXCLUSIONS:
- This warranty does not cover use for any commercial purposes. Commercial use includes but is not limited to, use in a store, rental properties, office or any other place of business.
- This warranty does not cover product installation in any outdoor application.
- This warranty does not cover product use as a flooring material.
- This warranty does not cover damage that is the result of improper use or abuse. Improper use or abuse includes, but is not limited to, mishandling of the product; exposure to excessive heat or uneven exposure to weather conditions; physical or chemical abuse; and improper care and maintenance.
- This warranty does not cover chips or other impact damage. Chips are caused by excessive impact on the product.
- This warranty does not cover labor to remove, fabricate and/or reinstall The Mineral Collection, or other similar activities necessary to complete the replacement or removal of the defective material.
- This warranty does not cover scratches. The Mineral Collection is a very hard surface material that is highly scratch-resistant, but not scratch proof. Proper care must be exercised including consistent use of a cutting board as part of The Mineral Collection care and maintenance.
- This warranty does not cover routine maintenance. Routine maintenance includes, but is not limited to, cleaning; including simple methods to address stubborn stains and watersports and Non-abrasive soap and water.
- This warranty does not cover failures due to fabricators/installers not following the prescribed fabrication and installation procedures as outlined by Raphael Stone U.S.A. Inc. Improper fabrication and/ or installation is the sole responsibility of the fabricator and/or installer.
- This warranty does not cover any defects that were visible at the time of fabrication and were not cut around during fabrication. Fabricators are required to perform a visual inspection of all materials before fabrication and again before installation.
- This warranty does not cover seam appearance or seam performance, adhesives, caulk or other accessory items. Once the product is installed, the two main reasons for seam separation or cracking are the shifting or movement of the substrate, cabinets or foundation and thermal shock.

These characteristics are inherent and unique characteristics of the product. Color samples provided to consumers, dealers, and fabricators are the only representative and may vary upon installation.
- This warranty does not cover spots or blemishes smaller than a U.S. dime. A certain amount of spots or blemishes are inherent in the manufacturing process and do not affect the structural integrity of the material.
- The Mineral Collection materials contain important product information on the back of each slab, and removing this product information will void the warranty.
Raphael Stone U.S.A. Inc. is not responsible for damage or injury caused in whole or in part by acts of God, job site conditions, architectural/engineering design, structural movement, and acts of vandalism or accidents.
Raphael Stone U.S.A. Inc. shall not be responsible in either contract or tort for any loss of direct, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or the inability to use the products covered by this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply.
This warranty grants specific legal rights, and homeowners may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty applies to the product that was installed after July 1, 2017.

Physical Inspection
Raphael Stone performs visual inspection for imperfections on all sides of the slab, before shipping.
Imperfections may include:
- Cracks, pits & blemishes
- Slab-to-slab color variation
- Tonality inconsistency within the slab
- Irregular spots
- Inconsistent sheen levels
- Thickness tolerance ± 1 mm (1/32”)
- Warping: up to 2 mm (1/16”) entire length and width when slab horizontal and fully supported
Raphael Stone USA will not accept claims for any of the items stated above if the slab is modified in any way. The fabricator is responsible for determining if the slabs are fit for use. If they are not, Use of the slab or slabs constitutes acceptance.
